Our Immigrant Workers' Rights Education Project is a comprehensive initiative aimed at empowering immigrant workers in the St. George, Stapleton, Port Richmond, and Tompkinsville communities. Our goal is to conduct 56 workshops, representing four languages, and at least eight community outreach sessions. In addition, we will host weekly information sessions to provide one-on-one support to workshop participants, addressing their questions and concerns. Furthermore, the funding will be instrumental in expanding El Centro's capacity to offer case management and social services to anyone attending the workshops. Through multilingual workshops and community outreach, we strive to protect immigrant workers from exploitation, discrimination, and unfair labor practices while fostering a more equitable and inclusive community.
