People diagnoses with Cancer often need help and resources

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Cancer is very prevalent, taking care of our sick or elderly is important to make our community whole

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Hire a worker to do outreach to people who are recently diagnosed with cancer. Train this person to navigate all available cancer care resources on Staten Island and walk through accessing these resources with the people who need them. have this worker available for 15 minute, non-clinical sessions to offer support
