Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Domestic violence is a serious social problem and a public health concern with significant negative impacts on our community. Domestic abuse have increased during the pandemic lockdown and our community needs the resources and the support to heal and recover more easily from the trauma.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Start a public awareness campaigns on domestic violence to educate Sunset Park community members about the prevalence of abuse, encourage people to take action to promote social change, and alert survivors to the options and resources that are available to them.
