This idea has advanced to one of our five Borough Assemblies. Throughout four deliberation sessions, Assembly members will decide whether the idea moves on to the final ballot.
Veterans Day on Veterans Day
- Idea Submission for The People's Money:
- A program to help Veterans with PTSD and their feelings of abandonment. This can be similar to a mental health group situation. They can also get help from navigators, agents/brokers and advocates to get health insurance from hospitals.
- What is the problem your idea aims to address?
- The system is leaving veterans out there alone. It seems that veterans are people that served their purpose during war and are now suffering from PTSD and others want to get rid of them, making them feel abandoned. This allows veterans to get hurt and not be able to get better.
