This idea has advanced to one of our five Borough Assemblies. Throughout four deliberation sessions, Assembly members will decide whether the idea moves on to the final ballot.
Afterschool Fun
- Idea Submission for The People's Money:
- We would like to do an afterschool program for kids 9-18 (years old). This program will provide homework help, additional assistance for kids with IEP’s on homework, and organized sports and dance classes. Additionally, we will provide games, puzzles to support self expression for kids with IEPs
- What is the problem your idea aims to address?
- Children are the future of the nation. In this program we’d like to develop kids’ thinking, reading, and writing skills for kids with IEP plans and help keep kids off the street
