Throughout four deliberation sessions, Assembly Members decided to advance this idea to one of the final borough ballots for New Yorkers to vote on. The idea has been edited by Assembly Members and CEC staff to fit ballot character limits and remove all references to specific institutions and geographies. Healthy Hot Meals Program

- A partnership with local chefs and Agape Food Rescue to prepare and distribute nutritious hot meals to families, seniors, and unhoused individuals on designated community meal days

- Many families cannot afford fresh, cooked meals and rely on unhealthy processed foods. Seniors and unhoused neighbors often lack the ability to cook or store meals.
